The Indigo of Albiate 1830
The Denim offer for shirting fabrics by Albiate 1830, which has become a typical characteristic of the fabric, has been extended with new proposals for the 2011 spring/summer collection, by painting everything trendy with the indigo colour. The search for sporty checks with Prince of Wales, Tartan, and Madras fabrics, as well as the important development of new plains represent a further step compared to the classic denim: silks, slub yarns, and linen are wefted on traditional warp beam dyed fabrics, creating new indigo nuances and forming new weaves.
The introduction of the indigo cone-type dyed yearn differentiates the Albiate 1830 denim collection from all the others.
The twisted yarn used is dyed on the thread with three different tones of indigo, which are combined between them or mixed with other seasonal colours. These form the most important package of the collection with more than 170 variants in three distinct basis.
First of all the Popeline Egeo NE 100/2 with strong and definite stripes and the Panama Indigo for open window pane checks and clean macro patterns. Finally the Zephir Olimpus Indigo, which can be used for both micro and macro Prince of Wales, for some hints of Tartan, and for all different types of Madras.
The particular solidity of cone-type yarn dyeing allows Albiate 1830 fabrics to undergo the most sophisticated washings and special treatments such as bleaching in order to obtain more or less worn or vintage effects.
The innovation and creativity of Albiate 1830 indigo, which is present in all styles, further enhances a wide range of fabrics of the historic brand of Gruppo Albini.
