Cotton

A soft and pleasant flower that from yellow turns red. A bud that is destined to leave its place to a boll that opens after three weeks to show the cotton flocks. One of Nature's magical mysteries which was first heard of in 7,000 B.C.

Linen

An antique fibre, cool, precious, natural, incomparable for its sumptuousness and elegance, made from “linum usatissimum”. In today's picture of textile fibres, linen represents a tiny percentage of all the natural fibres but is certainly first in terms of elegance, quality and perceived value.

Silk

The golden yarn. Undoubtedly the right definition for silk, the luxury fibre par excellence that, down the centuries, has dressed the rich and powerful. A wonderful fabric can be made with silk that is warm, light, soft and cool, delicate and fine with iridescent reflections that are just begging to be embroidered and decorated.
